"Neftchi"'s preparation for the season has been at a high level.
Idman.biz reports with reference to Report.az that this was stated to journalists by the head coach of "Neftchi", Samir Abasov.
"The situation in the team is good. Our preparation has been at a high level. We understand the pressure in the championship. Our name is the target. We will play according to our name. If we play with this goal, we will achieve what we want at the end of the season," the expert emphasized.
He said that they made many changes in the squad: "This will not pass without effect. We believe that everything will be fine. I think we have attracted good and quality players to the team."
According to Abasov, the fact that three teams in the championship play in Shamakhi worries them excessively. He stressed that the transfer work is still ongoing and there is competition in all positions.
The head coach admitted that they wanted to attract some players to the team, but the transition did not take place: "These are not issues that depend on us."
It should be noted that the 2025/2026 season in the Misli Premier League will start on August 15. "Neftchi" will host "Shamakhi" on August 16 at 20:00.
