"Neftchi" team's preparation for the season was at a high level.
According to "Report", this was stated to journalists by the head coach of "Neftchi" Samir Abasov.
"The situation in the team is good. Our preparation was at a high level. We understand the pressure in the championship. Our name is the target. We will play for our name. If we play with this goal, we will achieve what we want at the end of the season," the specialist emphasized.
He said that they made many changes in the squad:
"This will not pass without effect. We believe that everything will be fine. I think we have attracted good and quality players to the team".
According to Abasov, the fact that three teams play in Shamakhi in the championship worries them excessively.
He added that the transfer work is still ongoing.
It should be noted that the 2025/2026 season in the Misli Premier League will start on August 15. "Neftchi" will host "Shamakhi" on August 16 at 20:00.
