Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah could play for Roma in Italy.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to TuttoMercatoWeb that Roma management is exploring the possibility of loaning the 33-year-old Salah from Liverpool until the end of the season. Liverpool is currently only willing to accept a loan option until the end of the current season.
According to the source, Roma welcomes this offer, but Salah's high annual salary - approximately 24 million euros (approximately 48 million AZN) - is cited as a potential obstacle to the deal.
This season, Salah has made 20 appearances in all tournaments for Liverpool, scoring five goals and providing four assists. In December 2025, Salah was not included in Liverpool's starting lineup and stated in his statements that he was dissatisfied with his situation at the club.
