– Did you expect such a result?

– I didn't expect this result. There was a penalty in the first minutes. We knew that the opponent would put pressure on us physically and tactically. We made simple mistakes. If you make such mistakes, you will definitely be punished.

– Was it worth traveling such a distance to Azerbaijan for one game?

– It's disappointing. We had 4 flights before coming here. There were supposed to be two friendly games. In any case, we gained experience. We played against a European team. It is disappointing to play only one game.

– You have entered the history of the Azerbaijani national team. This was our team's biggest victory.

– Azerbaijan is a well-organized team, they handle the ball well. I said before the game that we need to take it seriously. Azerbaijan is a European team and they have competed against top teams like France and Ukraine. We didn't want to concede so many goals.

– What did you expect from the Azerbaijani national team in the game plan and what did you see?

– Before the game, we knew that the opponent was physically strong. We knew about the game a few months ago and conducted analysis. I am disappointed not because of the defeat, but because of the number of goals conceded. It was a good experience for our young players. After returning home, we will continue on the path we started.
