Sadiq Sadiqov: "You will watch a different "Neftchi" in the new season"

This was said to Idman.biz by Sadiq Sadiqov, the head of the Management Apparatus of the "Neftchi" Sports Club.

He assessed "Neftchi"'s performance in the current season of the Azerbaijan Premier League. Sadiqov said that there have been major changes in the team: "True, the season that ended was a bit unsuccessful. But I assure you that you will see a different "Neftchi" in the new season. The "white-blacks" have always been the flagship, and they had their say even during the former USSR. "Neftchi" is the first Azerbaijani club to enter the group stage of European Cups".

He also commented on the opinions expressed by head coach Samir Abasov regarding the lack of football players on the reserve bench: "A fundamental change is the team's policy. I am currently a little far from the management of the football club. However, we are following the progress. Samir Abasov emphasizes correctly. He was not the founder of the current team, he took over the team from the middle of the championship.
