This was stated to Idman.biz by Sabuhi Abdullazade, a football player of the Azerbaijani national team.
He evaluated the friendly match of the national team against the Hungarian national team in Baku. The 23-year-old midfielder said that the match they lost with a score of 1:2 was memorable with interesting moments: "We played against a difficult opponent. We knew in advance what they were capable of. Nevertheless, we went to the field to win and fought until the end. Unfortunately, we could not win and make our people happy. Of course, everyone comes to the national team understanding that they represent the country and the people. I hope we can do it in the next games."
Abdullazade also spoke about the test match with Latvia: "Compared to them, Hungary was a more difficult opponent. But in the match in Riga, we had more scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of these opportunities."
