Azerbaijan's I League representative "Sabail" has parted ways with its head coach Elvin Mammadov.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the information provided by the club, the decision was made after a meeting of the team's Board of Directors.
In addition to the members of the Board of Directors, the club's coaching staff also participated in the meeting, and the results of the games held from the beginning of the season to date were discussed.
At the meeting, the report of head coach Elvin Mammadov was heard. At the end of the meeting, based on the request of Elvin Mammadov, the contract concluded between the head coach and his assistants and the club was terminated by mutual agreement. The Board of Directors thanked the coaches for their services and wished them success in their future careers.
It should be noted that "Sabail" lost to "Jabrayil" 0:2 in the IX round of the I League today on its home field. The club is in second place with 23 points, 5 points behind "Shafa", the leader of the I League.
