"Sabah" became the 10th team to win the Azerbaijan Cup. Sport24.az reports that the Baku club defeated "Qarabagh" 3:2 in the final.
In the previous 32 seasons of the tournament held since 1992, there had been 9 winners. The absolute record belongs to "Qarabagh" - 8 times.
"Neftchi" has won 6, "Kapaz" 4, "Khazar Lankaran", "Baku" 3 each, "Keshla" (now "Shamakhi"), "Gabala" 2 cups each. "Inshaatchi" (Baku) and "Shafa", like "Sabah", have each lifted the cup once.
It should be noted that the 2001/02 and 2019/20 seasons were unfinished.
