The 2024/2025 season of the AFFA U-13 Girls League has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that the match for third place and the final match were held at the MES Emergency Stadium.
In the match for the bronze medal, "Sumgayit" defeated "Alekseyevka" from Guba with a score of 1:0 and finished the competition in third place.
Then, in the final match, "Sabail" and "Shafa" teams faced each other. "Sabail" won with a score of 2:0 and became the champion. "Shafa" won silver medals.
After the game, the winners of the first three places were awarded medals and diplomas. The winners in individual nominations were also announced. "Sabail" player Ofelya Shahbazi was named the best player of the season, and "Shafa" member Ayan Ashurlu was selected as the best goalkeeper. "Sumgayit" player Zeynab Jabbarli, who scored 30 goals during the season, won the award for the most productive player.
The awards were presented by Amina Hasanova, Head of the Women's Football Department of AFFA, Siyaset Asgarov, head coach of the Azerbaijani national women's football team, Ruslan Guliyev, the national team's goalkeeper coach, and Nargiz Gurbanova, head coach of our U-17 women's football team.
