"Celje", Sabah's opponent in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, has strengthened its defense with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the Slovenian representative has signed David Castro, whose contract with the Spanish club "Racing Ferrol" has expired.
The club's press service reported this.
A contract has been signed with the 29-year-old Spanish central defender until the summer of 2027.
It should be noted that "Sabah" will play its first match against "Celje" on July 10 in Baku. The return match between the teams will take place a week later in Slovenia.
