According to "Report", this was stated by "Sabah"'s head coach, Valdas Dambrauskas.
The specialist shared his thoughts at a press conference regarding the return match of the UEFA Conference League III qualifying round against Bulgaria's "Levski" (Sofia) team in Baku:
"I don't have much to say. If we can't make a difference in two games, then the opposing team deserves to advance to the next stage. We showed a disciplined game away. In the first match, the last 10 seconds separated us from a draw. In the return match, the opponent didn't take risks, but we had to. We made 1 mistake in the first half, which resulted in a goal. We express our gratitude to the fans who gathered in the stadium today.
We will now forget about this match and focus on the Premier League. We have one wish, which is to be in the Eurocup zone in the tournament table at the end of the 2025/2026 season. We want to represent Azerbaijan better in Europe."
