"Sabah" U-11 team participated in the "Shota Cup" international football tournament held in Batumi, Georgia.
İdman.biz reports that the team coached by Arslan Guliyev faced "Golden Boys" (6:1), "Maxinjauri A" (1:2), "Dolphins Batumi" (3:1) and "Batusi" (3:1) in the group stage.
Finishing the group stage in 2nd place, "Sabah" lost to "Kobuleti" in the penalty shootout after a goalless draw in the 1/4 finals.
In the fight for 5-8 places, the Azerbaijani representatives defeated "Bombora Kobuleti" (5:1) and "Uqimerioni Tbilisi" (1:0), finishing the tournament in 5th place.
