Although "Kapaz" club wanted to include "Sabah"'s goalkeeper Nicat Mehbaliyev in their squad, the capital representative did not agree to the transfer.
The head coach of Ganja club, Adil Shukurov, informed "Report" about this.
The specialist confirmed that they will part ways with Rojerio Santos, who was the main goalkeeper of the "blue-yellows" last season, and said that they are looking for his replacement:
"It is very difficult to find a good goalkeeper. We wanted to attract Nicat Mehbaliyev from the locals to our ranks. But "Sabah" did not agree to the transfer. There are good goalkeepers in Brazil, we are looking for them, we are watching them. But most of them want to come for a high salary. We believe that we will make the right choice in the end."
A. Shukurov said that they are about to agree with two of the players who were in the squad last season:
"We are interested in the services of Mahamadu Ba and Luis Pachun. We want to continue with both players in the new season. A large agreement has been reached. We will also have talks with Yegor Khvalko and some other players. It's just that these things are done in stages. We have little time. We are trying to do a good job."
It should be noted that "Kapaz" finished the last season of the Azerbaijan Premier League in ninth place with 32 points. After the end of the season, the Ganja representative, who parted ways with head coach Azer Bagirov, replaced him with Adil Shukurov.
