"Sabah" club has drawn conclusions from the games they played against the Slovenian representative "Sele".
According to "Report", this was stated by "Sabah" head coach Valdas Dambrauskas.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, which they will play against the Moldovan team "Petrocub" on the road:
"A very interesting match awaits us. We have analyzed how the opponent plays, we have watched their latest matches. It is a very interesting team, they tend to play more defensively. The players are very compact, they know what to do on the field. I think they play a little differently at home and away. At home, they press more, they try to play one-on-one with the opponent all over the field. On the road, their tactical approach is a little different. There is no favorite in the European Cups, here you always have to fight with all your might, and at any moment you can decide the fate of the game.
Of course, we didn't just come here to play. I think "Sabah" should already reach a level where, regardless of where they play, they go to every match to win. We will try to do this as well."
He stated that they had drawn conclusions from their meetings with the Slovenian representative "Sele":
"The two matches we played with "Sele" gave us a lot in terms of understanding our game, understanding our mistakes and seeing what we need to fix. As always in European football, small details decide the result. You go out on the field and fight, but in the end, small moments, focusing determine the fate of the game. I hope that this time everything will be in our favor."
It should be noted that the "Petrokub" - "Sabah" match will start today at 21:00 Baku time at the "Zimbru" stadium in Chisinau. The return match between the parties will start on July 31 at the "Bank Respublika Arena" at 20:00 Baku time.
