"Sabah" has demanded 53,000 manats from its goalkeeper Yusif Imanov, who left the team.
Idman.biz reports that the footballer's lawyer, Eljan Hasanli, informed Sportal.az about this.
He stated that "Sabah" demanded 53,000 manats in compensation from Yusif Imanov: "This is the amount of salary the footballer should have received from "Sabah" in the upcoming season. We, as the opposing party, are also demanding that they pay the same amount. That is, both sides have claims. It seems that the process will continue, and there is no obstacle for Yusif to reach an agreement with another club during this period."
It should be noted that the issue will initially be considered by the AFFA's Player Status and Transfer Committee. Later, an appeal can be made to the AFFA Arbitration Tribunal. If the decision does not satisfy the parties, the last instance will be CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).
