"Sabah" became the 10th team to win the Azerbaijan Cup.
According to "Report", referring to the official website of the Professional Football League, 9 teams have won the title in the previous 32 seasons of the tournament held since 1992.
The absolute record belongs to "Qarabağ" – 8 times.
"Neftchi" 6, "Kapaz" 4, "Khazar Lankaran", "Baku" 3 each, "Keshla" (now "Shamakhi"), "Gabala" 2 cups each. "Inshaatchi" (Baku) and "Shafa", like "Sabah", have each lifted the cup once.
It should be noted that the 2001/2002 and 2019/2020 seasons were left unfinished. "Sabah" defeated "Qarabağ" 3:2 in extra time in the final game held on May 31.
