"My contract with "Zaqatala" has expired. There were initial negotiations. However, I haven't signed a new contract because the financial issue hasn't been clarified." These words were said by the head coach of "Zaqatala," Rustam Mammadov, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist stated that they are in a waiting position because the club's budget is unknown:
"Currently, we are all in a waiting position. Our plans are not clear. We don't know the team's situation, how the legionnaire limit will be, or how much money will be allocated to us. We will make our plans after these questions are clarified. We haven't started transfer work. We can't tell any footballer "your salary will be so much" until the finances are resolved. The club is operating with the 300,000 allocated by AFFA."
It should be noted that "Zaqatala" finished last season in 5th place with 34 points.
