A coaching appointment has taken place at the "Shamkir" club. Sport24.az reports that Rufat Guliyev has been appointed as an assistant coach.
The club's press service has released information about this.
As a football player, he wore the uniform of the Azerbaijani national team, and Guliyev, representing "Qarabag", "Turan", "Shafa" and the Iranian "Esteghlal" club, won two bronze medals in the Asian Champions League and Cup Winners' Cup competitions. As a coach, he has worked for "Agsu", "Araz Saatli" and "Bylis" (Albania) teams.
"Shamkir" will compete in the Second League in the new season.
