Former football player of the Azerbaijan national team, Ruslan Gurbanov, has become a father for the second time.
Idman.biz reports that the former striker himself informed Telegraf about this.
According to him, he named his son, who was born in Baku, Adam.
Gurbanov stated that after his 10-year-old daughter, he wanted his son to be born in Azerbaijan.
He also emphasized that he has made a firm decision to end his professional football career: "Thanks to Azerbaijan, I became a football player, they believed in me. I will be grateful to Arif Asadov for the rest of my life. That's why I decided that my son should be born in Baku. This is an indication of my respect for the people here with me. I have finished my career. I think this is my final decision. Children are growing up, it's hard to play. I am grateful to Azerbaijan for my entire career. I wish my son to be a better football player than me."
It should be noted that Ruslan Gurbanov, originally from Stavropol, Russia, played for the Azerbaijani national team in 2015-2018 and scored 1 goal in 26 matches. He is known for his performances in the country's clubs "Sumgayit", "Neftchi", "Gabala", "Keshla", "Zira". Gurbanov last played for "Hypers Guba" (now "Quba") in the Second League.
