The veteran football player, who currently works in children's football, shared his thoughts on the game in the first round of the UEFA Youth League, in which "Karabakh" U-19 team lost to the Portuguese representative "Benfica" with a score of 1:7:
"Does a 19-year-old football player play in the Premier League in our country? It was a bitter defeat. Head coach Rashad Sadigov is my dear, my brother. We would like them to play well, fight, and achieve results. If you are playing against a quality team, you have to run more than them, fight. The children did their best. If they play with Benfica for the second time, such a score will not be recorded. Maybe the football players could not tune in well for the game that day. The excitement of the Champions League and the player's first appearance in such a match may play a role. Sometimes you prepare the team for the game, and the desire is so great that you "burn" yourself out. If there are 2-3 strong clubs in the U-19 championship now, one of them is "Karabakh".
It should be noted that the youth team of the Aghdam representative will play a total of 6 games in the League stage of the competition.
