"Turan Tovuz" could have scored more goals against "Kapaz" in the return match of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.
"Report" reports that the team's coach Ruslan Abishov said this at a press conference.
The expert shared his thoughts on the match in which they won against the Ganja representative with two unanswered goals:
"After the goal we scored at the beginning of the second half, we were ahead 3:0 on aggregate. We could have created episodes in counter-attacks and scored more goals. We will forget this match and prepare for the championship game. Our goal in the Cup is big, we want to go to the final. We also won the first game (1:0). But it didn't change anything for us. We prepared seriously for the match. An early goal created a bit of complacency in the team. This also affected the game."
It should be noted that "Turan Tovuz" will face "Zira" in the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup.
