He stated that there was enough spectator interest in the competition: "The organization was even more successful than we expected. The interest of the spectators was also high. We organized live broadcast of the games on the Internet. A large audience watched the matches live."
The official of the organization said that some of the players who played in the tournament will be invited to the national team: "6 teams, consisting of players from the I League, minifootball and AFFA Regional League, competed in the national championship. Almost all teams had players who played in the beach soccer national team or were involved in training camps. The main fight was between VTB and "Marafon" teams. The champion was determined in the last round. VTB won 7:4 against its opponent. "Chinar Zangilan" took the third place. Some new players also appeared on the field. They will be involved in the national team's training camps from now on."
He reminded that the national champion and the runner-up will compete in the European Cups: "The national champion will represent Azerbaijan in the "Euro Winners Cup", where the winners of the beach soccer championships of European countries will compete. "Marafon" has qualified for the "Challenge Cup", which is the play-off stage of this competition."
It should be noted that "VTB Bank" became the national champion after winning 7:4 over "Marafon" in the last round of the Super League. "Marafon" finished the competition in the second place. "Chinar Zangilan", who defeated "Dirçəliş" with a score of 5:4, won the bronze medal.
