"My transfer to the Croatian club "Varazdin" was an important decision for me."
İdman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani footballer Rufat Abdullazadeh, who moved to the Croatian club "Varazdin", said this in an interview with AZERTAC.
He stated that he was happy to live the life of a legionnaire: "From the first day at the club, I was received very warmly and received great support from both the management and my teammates. Training is very intense. The pace is at a high level. This requires me to put in my full strength. I am currently working with an individual training program and I think that I will fully adapt to the team's pace in the next 1 month. The management is very open and constantly in contact with the players, which makes adaptation easier. I am planned to play on the right flank, but my position may change according to the coaches' decision. The city is small, but very friendly. This peace and quiet is ideal for me to fully focus on football. My main goal is to be useful to the team, perform consistently and show myself even better in every game".
It should be noted that Rufat Abdullazadeh signed a 3-year contract with the "Varazdin" club.
