Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger hit Getafe player Diego Rico in the face with his knee during the teams' match in the 26th round of La Liga.
Idman.Biz reports that in the 26th minute of the game, while Rico was developing his team's attack from the flank, Arda Güler fought with him, and Diego fell. Rüdiger then intervened, hitting Rico's shoulder and then his face. The visiting team player covered his face, the game was stopped, and the medical team entered the field, but referee Alexandro Muniz Ruiz saw no foul play.
The game then continued.
