Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger has shared his thoughts on the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 against Manchester City.
Idman.Biz reports that Real Madrid won the first leg 3-0.
"I've had a lot of similar matches. I won the Champions League with Real Madrid. You work for matches and moments like these. We have played City many times over the years, they are one of the best teams in Europe. If you want to win the Champions League, you have to play City.
I've had some minor problems, but they're all in the past. Looking at the last few games, I'm playing well and feeling great. I'm in good shape at this stage of the season. I have worked hard over the last few months to be in shape, to help the team and be useful.
The most important thing for me is to be healthy. I feel great. As for the rest... I'm sure we'll come to an agreement [with Real Madrid]. Now is not the time to talk about that," AS quotes Rüdiger.
