Portuguese international Ruben Neves has changed his mind about his future career. Sport24.az reports that the 28-year-old midfielder has preferred to stay at Al-Hilal for another season.
Thus, Neves, who wanted to leave Saudi Arabia at the end of the season and return to Europe, wants to spend the 2026/2027 season in Asia as well. In fact, Neves had decided to return to Europe in the summer, but changed his mind because he could not find a club that would pay him the salary he wanted. But if any club offers the Portuguese footballer the salary he demands at the last moment, he may reconsider the option of returning to Europe.
Ruben, who played for Porto and Wolverhampton, has been wearing the Al-Hilal uniform since 2023, and his contract expires on June 30, 2026.
