Burglars broke into the house of "Manchester City's" Portuguese defender, Ruben Dias.
Idman.Biz reports that the incident occurred during the English club's Champions League match against "Galatasaray" in the 8th round.
The player was at the stadium at the time, while his girlfriend, a British television presenter, was filming in South Africa.
The burglars entered the mansion in Alderley Edge and stole jewelry, electronics, clothing and other valuables.
Local police have confirmed the theft. There is currently no information on arrests or the identification of suspects. Police investigation is ongoing.
"Of course, we as a club are trying to support him. I haven't spoken to him personally. No one wants this to happen. We will support him and see how things develop," said "Manchester City" coach Pepin Leinders on the club's official website.
This season, the footballer has played 25 games for the club in all competitions and scored two goals.
