Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed the conversation he had with club owner Jim Ratcliffe yesterday.
Idman.biz reports that CEO Omar Berrada and sporting director Jason Wilcox also attended the meeting.
"New contract, he offered me a new contract (smiles)! No, he just called to show support and explain that this is a long-term project. I spoke with him, Omar and Jason so they had all the information about the team. It was a normal meeting.
This is football and this club is perhaps under more pressure than other teams anywhere in the world, but we want to win. We need to be more aggressive. In other things, I think we have improved compared to last year," said Amorim.
After four Premier League games, Manchester United are in 14th place.
