Ruben Amorim knew from day one that he would not be able to succeed at "Manchester United", and the reason sounds almost ridiculous.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the coach was shocked by the atmosphere in the team. The players complained about "very simple" training sessions, and Amorim himself literally dragged the players onto the field, placing them "as needed."
But the most striking moment was his personal observation. Amorim confessed that when he saw the players calmly fiddling with their laces before doing warm-up exercises without anger, focus, and inner fire, he understood at first sight that he could not win with such a team.
Speaking to sources, he called the club "broken" and the players "psychologically fragile."
It sounds ridiculous - laces, details, small things. But according to Amorim, it is these small things that make up the winning mentality. And at that moment, he realized: there is simply no such thing in the current "United".
