Rovshan Gasimov, the coach of the Azerbaijani women's national football team, shared his thoughts at a press conference after the home match against the Andorra national team (2:0) within the qualifying round of the World Championship. Sport24.az reports that the specialist commented on the victory as follows:
"There was a very good atmosphere. We tried to live up to the expectations placed on us. I believe the fans enjoyed the game. We were pleased with the team, the girls fulfilled all the tasks. Very important matches await us ahead. In June, we will face the national teams of Hungary and North Macedonia. After that, we will fully focus on those meetings."
