Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has harshly criticized fan Frank Ilett for a haircut campaign.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Goal, the fan promised not to cut his hair until Manchester United win five games in a row. However, Rooney believes that such actions only distract attention from the team itself.
"I would say harsh words to him, he just gets on my nerves. We're talking about (Michael) Carrick and United trying to win five games in a row, but all anyone cares about is whether this guy cuts his hair or not. I'm sure if United win their fifth game, he'll be very upset because no one will need him all of a sudden," Rooney said.

It should be noted that Manchester United failed to beat West Ham in the last match and extend their winning streak to five matches, so the fan's campaign continues.
