Cristiano Ronaldo, the 40-year-old forward of the Portuguese national team and Al-Nassr, is close to leaving Saudi Arabia.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, his release clause is 50 million euros. He could continue his career in MLS or Portugal.
Ronaldo is dissatisfied with Al-Nassr's transfer policy.
The Portuguese footballer opposed the move of French striker Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal. Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli belong to the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.
Ronaldo believes that the fund wants to prevent Al-Nassr from winning the title.
