Former Brazil national team leader Ronaldo is selling his club, Valladolid. According to Sport24.az, the club announced that Ronaldo, Chairman of the Board of Directors and main shareholder, has signed an agreement to transfer the controlling stake to a North American investment group.
The financial support for the agreement is provided by a European fund.
The agreement will be reviewed by the Spanish Higher Sports Council.
Ronaldo will receive 50 million euros from this sale. The Brazilian Ronaldo has owned the Valladolid club since 2018. This year, the club left La Liga for the third time in the last six years.
