Cristiano Ronaldo misses his second consecutive Al-Nassr match. Sport24.az reports that the 41-year-old footballer was not included in the squad list for the home game against Al-Ittihad in the 21st round of the Saudi Arabian Championship (0:0, second half).
Previously, the Portuguese national team's forward also missed the league match against Al-Riyadh (1:0). It was reported that he also did not participate in the training session after that match.
Earlier, there were reports that Ronaldo was dissatisfied with how the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Investment Fund (PIF) manages the club compared to rivals, especially Al-Hilal. It was also reported that Cristiano believes PIF is hindering the club's fight for the championship and may leave Al-Nassr in the summer to move to MLS or Europe.
It has also been reported today that Ronaldo could not be persuaded to play in the match against Al-Ittihad. Al-Nassr's head coach, Jorge Jesus, supports his compatriot's protest and does not attend press conferences.
