Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has broken the world record for the number of goals scored for his national team.

Ronaldo renewed the world record by scoring his 138th goal for the national team. In this indicator, Argentine striker Lionel Messi is in second place with 112 goals for the national team.
