Cristiano Ronaldo, the 41-year-old forward for Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, has spoken about the possibility of participating in the 2030 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that Portugal will be one of the host countries for the 2030 World Cup.
"I haven't ruled out the possibility of playing in the 2030 World Cup. At 41, I score goals every week, so maybe I can play for another four years," DAZN quoted Ronaldo as saying on social media.
The 2030 World Cup will be held in 6 countries: Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay will host the opening matches, while the main part of the tournament will be held in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Portugal's current best result in the World Cup is third place in 1966.
