Former Brazilian national team striker Ronaldo Nazario commented on Carlo Ancelotti's appointment as head coach of the national team.
"Report" reports, citing ESPN, that the world champion has expressed his approval of this appointment.
"I think Ancelotti's arrival will be very positive. I know him well. He is a great team player, he knows how to gain the sympathy and trust of the players. I think the coach should be closer to the players, gain trust, and understand when to put pressure on them and when to let them go. He reminds me a lot of Scolari, who was a father figure to the team. Scolari's trainings were boring, but everyone did their best - for him, for the team," R. Nazario emphasized.
It should be noted that K. Ancelotti has been leading the Brazilian national team since May 12. The contract with the 66-year-old specialist is valid until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
