Italian club Roma has finally found a new title sponsor, but the agreement has been met with mixed reactions from both fans and the media.
Idman.Biz reports that official sponsorship with bookmakers is prohibited in Italy.
Roma has solved this problem on paper by signing a contract with Eurobet Live, a statistical platform.
The contract is for 3 years and has a total value of 50 million euros. In compliance with financial fair play rules, the club will receive 8 million euros immediately.
The new sponsor's logo appears inconsistent with the design of the uniform. Fans say the logo is too large and the font has a "heavy" effect. This negatively affects the aesthetic appearance of the uniform.
