Romania U-21 defender Ümit Akdağ may play for the Turkish national team. According to Sport24.az, the Turkish Football Federation has started negotiations with the 21-year-old football player in this regard.
Akdağ, who currently plays for Alanyaspor, has not yet made a decision on this matter. Ümit, who was born in Bucharest, has both parents of Turkish origin.
The young football player, a graduate of FCSB, also played in Chelsea's academy. Many European clubs are also interested in the services of Ümit, who has played for Göztepe, Alanyaspor, and Toulouse. The central defender has played 10 matches for the Romania U-21 team and scored 2 goals.
