- You lost at home to "Neftchi" in the V round of the Misli Premier League. What do you think was the reason for the defeat?
- Both teams came to this match to win. Both sides had chances to score and the game was even. In such matches, the side that scores first usually wins, and that's what happened.
- "Sumgayit" is in second place after five rounds. Did you expect such a start at the beginning of the season?
- We don't think much about our position right now. Only 5 games have been played so far. We look from game to game and try to win three points in every match. We will define our goals more clearly in the later stages of the season.
- In the VI round you will face another ambitious team - "Sabah". What are your expectations from this match?
- As I always say, clubs with much bigger budgets than us come to the game as favorites, but in football, any team can win. We have shown this before. We go to every game with the goal of winning.
- What do you think should be the main goal of "Sumgayit" for the current season?
- I'll give the same answer. It's too early to talk about our final position at the end of the season. There are a lot of games and anything can happen during the season.
- You have been in this club since 2023. Has the level of the championship increased during this time?
- Yes, I think that the teams are developing, the competition is getting more difficult, and almost every team can resist any opponent and get three points.
