Real Madrid's Rodrygo will not participate in both matches of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage against Portuguese side Benfica.
"Report" reports, citing "The Athletic", that this is due to the 25-year-old winger being sent off in the XVIII round of the League stage after receiving a second yellow card in the match they lost to this opponent (2:4).
UEFA decided to disqualify the Brazilian player for two matches for using abusive language towards the referees.
The matches will take place on February 17 and 25. Real Madrid's other player, Jude Bellingham, will not be able to play in these matches due to injury.
