Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes has been suspended for two Champions League matches for insulting the referee in the 4-2 win over Benfica in the Champions League round of 8.
Idman.Biz reports that the Brazilian player received a red card in the 90+7th minute. According to The Athletic, Rodrygo will miss both play-off matches against the Lisbon club.
The first leg between Real Madrid and Benfica will be played on February 17. The return leg will be on February 25.
Rodrygo has made five appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
