Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes has been playing with a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee since 2023. The midfielder suffered the injury after playing for the Brazilian national team.
According to Idman.Biz, citing The Athletic, doctors declined surgery at the time because conservative treatment was considered more appropriate.
The 25-year-old Brazilian has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a lateral meniscus. He is expected to be out of action for approximately 10 months. This means that the midfielder will not participate in the 2026 World Cup. Rodrygo was injured in the 26th round of the Spanish League in the 1-0 loss to Getafe.
