"Manchester City" midfielder Rodri has spoken about the possibility of returning to La Liga and wearing the "Real" shirt in the future, despite having played for Madrid's "Atletico" in the past. Sport24.az reports that the 2024 "Golden Ball" winner told "metro" about this:
"The fact that I played for "Atletico" in the past does not prevent me from moving to "Real". You can't say "no" to the best clubs in the world. There is always a special atmosphere at the "Santiago Bernabeu". I would like to return to La Liga - I still follow the league. I also love the Premier League - it is very demanding, I am happy to play there now. I have one year left on my contract with "Manchester City". The time will come when we will sit down and talk".
It should be noted that the 29-year-old football player has played 28 games in all tournaments this season and scored two goals. Rodri transferred from "Atletico" to "Manchester City" in 2019. The player's current contract with the club expires in the summer of 2027. According to the "Transfermarkt" portal, the player's market value is 65 million euros.
