Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos recalled his time at "Real."
According to Lent.az, citing foreign press, the defender saw many players wear the "Royal Club" jersey during his 11 years. He was asked who brought him the most positive emotions.
"Raul. He represented the club very well. He motivated the players in a great way with his work ethic and playing style. He was a leader and a captain," Carlos said.
Recall that Raul worked at "Real" for 18 years as a player (including at the youth level). He also coached at Castilla for seven years.
In total, Raul played 550 games for "Real" and scored 228 goals.
