According to our source, officials have contacted Robert Prosinečki, who once coached the team, as a backup option, and the Croatian specialist is warm to the idea of working in Azerbaijan again.
It should be noted that the 56-year-old Croat was the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team from December 2014 to November 2017.
