"Lech" has become the Polish football champion in the 2024/25 season.
Idman.biz reports that the Poznan club defeated "Piast" 1:0 in the final round of the national championship and took first place, only one point ahead of its closest follower, "Rakow".
This is "Lech"'s ninth championship. Robert Lewandowski's former team previously conquered the top in their country in 1983, 1984, 1990, 1992, 1993, 2010, 2015 and 2022.
In Poland, "Legia" (15), "Gornik" and "Ruch" (14 each), as well as "Wisła" (13) have more championship titles.
