Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski will miss the start of the La Liga season against Mallorca, Levante and Rayo Vallecano due to injury.

The 36-year-old striker could take several weeks to recover. This means the forward will only return to the field in September, after the international break. It was previously announced that the striker would not play against Como in the Joan Gamper trophy due to discomfort in the back of his left thigh.
It should be noted that Barcelona will face Mallorca in the first match of the 2025/2026 season in La Liga.
