Polish national team footballer Robert Lewandowski has received an official offer from the US club Chicago Fire.
"Report" reports, citing Diario Sport, that the 37-year-old striker may leave Spanish representative Barcelona at the end of the current season.
The MLS team's first contact with the experienced player took place in late last year. Lewandowski traveled to Chicago with his wife in November. In early December, a delegation from the US club went to Barcelona for the forward. A meeting with the striker's agent, Joe Mansueto, also took place.
Chicago Fire has offered Lewandowski a 2-year contract with a high salary. The football player has not yet responded. Because European and Saudi Arabian clubs are also interested in him.
It should be noted that Robert Lewandowski, who has been playing for Barcelona since 2022, has scored 13 goals and 3 assists in 28 matches this season. His contract with the Catalan representative expires this summer.
