"Ferencvaros" will be hosted by "Qarabag" in Baku tomorrow as part of the return match of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Hungarian team, Robbie Keane, participated in the press conference held before the match:
- To advance to the next stage, we as a team must not make mistakes. Each player must pay attention to individual mistakes and help our team. In the first match, we conceded goals from simple situations. The opponent took advantage of these opportunities and won. Now our physical preparation is in place and we will go to the game with full motivation.
- You have played against big clubs in your football career. Were you more excited then, or now?
- Of course, it is very gratifying to reach this level. These teams are very strong. I am as excited about tomorrow's game as I was when I played for those clubs. As a head coach and former player, my goal is always to reach the highest places.
- 6 of your players have been called up to the Hungarian national team. What can you say about this?
- I'm happy about that. I always give young players a chance. My work principle is to contribute to the further strengthening and development of football players.
- What is the reason why you didn't train in Baku?
- We always train at our own stadium. Maybe some people think that all stadiums are the same, but we always go on trips after working on our own field, and this has a positive effect on our game.
- Do you think it is possible to come back after a score of 1:3?
- I have been in football for a long time and I know that anything is possible in football. When I was at "Liverpool", we were able to equalize the score when we were behind 0:3. There have also been cases where we came back and won with a score of 3:2, 4:2. Anything can happen tomorrow. I don't like to lose. As a head coach, our job is to get our team ready for the game and achieve the highest result.
